I'm looking around TS and its guide. I refuse to believe that a such wonerful and powerful 3D application is abandoned. Is it possible that none's going to continue its development? I see many seeker and more expensive 3d programs still alive! Please, someone lets TS alive and continues its development. Maybe its community, like Blender?

Microsoft wouldn't release it as opensource ( to then we continue the development like Blender), they just nuked Caligari in the Microsoft Style!

"Embraced"...yes...."Extended"...meh, not so much.
At least in it's present form...my theory is that some future, Frankenstein 3D software will have parts of the tS corpse sewn into it's DNA.
But don't let that scare you, there's still plenty of fun to be had with it.

har... Frankenware.... truly an MS concept....
har.....
TS is not dead ... yet... as long as there are people writing scripts or using the SDK to create functionality or improve the tools TS will remain alive....
interest in this does seem to be waning though so the horizon seems closer.
