November 2009 Monthly Modelling Challenge "ROBOTS"

Create a Scene where the Robot or Robots are the main focus.

Overview:
The idea, as created by Jack, is to have a challenge that is geared towards the complete 3D development cycle from concept through modeling, surfacing, lighting, rendering, and any post processing (environmental enhancement).

Basic Rules:
1) Use your own work. No pre-made purchased or free models, please. The idea is to share what you can create inside of trueSpace!
2) Start a Work In Progress Thread (WIP) for your submission. There is no limit as to how many separate art work WIPs you desire to create!
3) If so desired, a limit of up to 3 final images can be submitted in order to better view your models or even tell a story....However, your first posted image will be your final entry.
4) Final image submissions should be no larger than 800 x 600 in dimensions. A link to your WIP is also suggested (even though I'm sure that most people are viewing them during your creative process)...A WIP is a fun and entertaining place to be !!!
5) TrueSpace should be the primary tool but other 3D Programs are allowed. Post processing with a Paint Program to enhance lighting or environment presentation is fine. Background images are fine.

Deadline:
This Month's competition will start November 2nd and will continue until Sunday November 22 at midnight (whatever midnight is in your time zone).
Voting Poll will end on November 29th at Midnight in your time zone.

The Winner will be announced November 30th.
The Winner’s art work then gets the privilege of being in the MMC Winner's Gallery and also has the honor of picking a topic and hosting next month's MMC
If the Winner from the previous Month receives the most votes in this Challenge the second place winner will become the new Host for next Month.

Hey Steinie, can I use models that I did few years ago? Or I need to do them again?
Maybe I enter this MMC if I can use one, I have some here...

The scene should be a fresh new idea and not pre-made.

I'll try to evaluate, but it's a hard choice because if I start the MMC I couldn't start my other WIP...

I am going really try to get in this one. One can't get good unless one keeps at it . I will still continue my other projects, besides I just love mechanical stuff and a robot is an ultimate mechanical machine.

Well I need to work on a robot for inventory purposes so I will try to get in for this MMC....

Attached pic are 4 "Hall of Fame" Robots

So that the Challenge ends before the Holidays begins I will not be extending
the deadline for Robots. Your model and scene can be as simple or complex
as you like. Since the end date is fixed you better start soon! Get those WIPs
created folks.
