I like the crow Jeff.
There are two things I notice.
The Bandana would look better if the front was down further so it looks like it is hanging, instead of looking stiff.
The eyes (always the most important part of any living thing) really need the specular highlights adjusted. The sheen is just too large. I think all your models would look better with this one adjustment. Sometimes they almost looks blind with that large sheen.
As far as animation...your my Jedi Master...

Good points to make Bob, I will have to pay better attention to the eyes I tend to get carried away with the sheen and gloss.
You are also correct about the bandana, it needs to have more flow.
