Curious now to see what each thing in the diagram becomes.

I think every item will be kitbashed, including textures to polygons or vice versa.

Like this preliminary group of meshes...

My paid informants have failed to get information on your project. The listening device I attached to your dog worked fine but all I could hear were keyboard and mouse noises. Spy drone hovering outside the window ... yes, now zoom in on the screen ... (crash sounds) ...

I like the entry texture. It looks like it is wrapped with foil. That is an often overlooked aspect of spacecraft.

Sorry I had just moved my domicile and my stuff including my 'puter' was packed away.

I decided to go with a theme of huge bays - but need to put into scale with perhaps a vehicle or a human or something.
Roughed an idea out last night - kind of like the way it feels - may go with that. Will build both sides but anything but an overhead view can only capture the 'hugeness'.

Probably won't have time to finish this as I just moved and still not settled. Also holiday traveling - blah blah blah etc.

But got one render and a few snaps of the partially done craft interior.

Carrara 8.5 Pro mostly ( a little Hexagon)

Scale is often a problem with sci fi things. Something familiar is needed for scale but may be inappropriate for the sci fi scenario. Looking good and huge so far!

Yeah - I added some genesis figures to give some idea of the scale. More fore to aft and aft to fore shots.

control room aft view.jpg looks towards the rear giving some sense of scale without the hull

control room view is a view of the control room in the very front of the ship.

workers.jpg looks aft to fore at the control room (fore) though the big gapping view hole in the front. heh

Is this one also finished James? Should I enter it into the challenge?
