Thanks Bitkar
Just out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know any good voice actors? And I'm not saying that it has anything to do with this secret project, because in that case it would be a secret and I wouldn't reveal anything...

No, not LDD (Lego Digital Designer). I used trueSpace as usual.

Very good, I'm intrigued. I must say your models and accessories are absolutely spot on and really capture that Lego look.

The New Secret Project Revealed
Thanks Breech Block!
The project, as I can now reveal is an animation project where me and another person are making five short episodes as a part of a whole series, is going very well.
The story is set in Egypt, somewhere between WW1 and WW2, kind of like in Indiana Jones I think. There will be evil villains, monsters, mummies and naturally treasure.
We have voice actors, a good composer and a texture artist. All we really need now is a sound designer and time to finish all the work.

Re: New Secret Project
Sounds really cool.
I took a peak at your website btw, very neat. Some great models on there. Loved the lightcycle. It's still on my to do list.
It would seem as if we are both into similair stuff. Perhaps one day our 2 animation studios could work on a project together and show people what tS can really do.

Re: New Secret Project
That sounds great, however we aren't using tS for the animations, I think she uses Maya for that. I'm the writer and also a modeler, Janina does all the animating and rendering. That is because my computer can't handle advanced scenes so rendering would be impossible.
There are a lot of people making lightcycles, when I look on Deviant Art there is almost a new one every day. I made mine based upon some concepts I found on the internet, I thought they were so awesome that I just had to model one

Re: New Secret Project
Re: writer and modeler...SNAP! Looks like we might have even more in common.
I wouldn't see us using differing software as a problem. The way I have come to view making 3D/CGI movies of late is that you use your preferred software of choice to create/render different elements then you composite them all together in something like After Effects. I will be starting up a WIP thread (when I can find the time) to show the community our current work. Would be very interested in your comments on the project when that happens.
