Might as well pile more on, then. This time with added fresnel!

Art! Everyone does realistic stuff but you can do art too.

Tell how you used TS to do this.

Easy enough.
VRay glass and Fresnel shaders.
GI Lighting
Heavily subdivided primitives; planes, spheres, toruses...torusesesesss... torii.
Take those and run Map Displacement tool on them.
Maybe a little gain, maybe a lot.
Pile everything up in front of the camera and push render button.

oO,

I like that spider-looking design upper right.

The reflective sun-type in the lower left is cool as well.

Probably the last installment in this rather pointless exercise.

OK, I said 'probably' the last, not definitely the last.
Takes on a whole different feel just by changing the GI image.

Like a scab I can't stop picking at, here's another try.
wasserwall11_sml.jpg
The white at the top is distracting, not sure if that's from the GI map or the background image.

BTW, does anyone know how to set a background image in VRAY?
There is a dropdown box to choose color, image, etc, but I don't see any way to pick a file.

Embiggenate here.
