Hi all ,ihave my oid pc as second just for trueserve,
does anyone know of a good AGP grafic card
i think the ati 9800 ok but not sure.
one other question do all AGP cards work
with any motherboard with AGP slot.
running windows home edtion.

My pc still running on AGP, i own a Gforce 6600vtd and i have a good performance in both, model and workspace side..
I would recommend you Nvidia chipset.. i remember few problems with Ati on workspace side during the beta cycle... so my suggestion 100% nvidia chipset.

I had a good nvidia but had no end of problems with it in general in windows and was killing truespace all the time. picked up an ATI 4800 series card which was 1/2 the price and twice the performance of Nvidia equivalent and all issues went away. Saying that, there are loads of reports of problems with the new ATI 5700 series card which are, I believe, the only fully DirectX 11 cards available when they work...

Got a nice Radeon 5470 with 1GB ram that works well...
but has anybody use the graphics design specific cards like the Fire Pro V8750 or FireGL cards? are they much better than your gaming Geforce and Radeon cards in trueSpace?
