Anyone use uu3d?

Post by seppgirty »

Any one here use uu3d? i'm looking for more advanced tutorials like how to unwrap an organic character model like how you do it in the free program roadkill. Surprisingly there are very few tutorials for uu3d pro.

The real strong part of the software is that it supports so many file formats..but I prefer painting with either zbrush or 3d Coat.....! In the 3d industry more and more use painting..
its easier...For buildings I use the tool inside Sketchup.. and since
it supports instancing your much faster....repaint a whole city with a few clicks..

Thanks for the advice rayman. I would still like to learn advanced uv mapping in uu3d though. Guess i'll have to use my scientific method of poke and hope and pulling my hair out until i figure it out. :D
