...it is one of those an unwritten understandings that everybody normally follows which says that the person who won previously and hosts the next MMC do not enter again... and if they do (like in this case where there were very little entries), they won't host again... this is to give others the chance to host an MMC and choose a new theme...

...same goes for voting, some prefer not to vote at all if they are hosting... but it is all relative, the host chooses the rules, after all, it is for fun with no prizes...
