Here is the latest version, created May 09, 2011.
The control surface is a 4 x 6 mesh, which generates
a 24 x 20 mesh.
With this release, user-entered values for the control surface
and nurbs surface are not available. That is coming in a near
future release.
To use, unzip the file, install the plugin, and load the sample scene file.
Feel free to play with the mesh already in the scene, or delete it,
and click the start button on the jscript node in the Link Editor to create a new
one. When you enter edit mode, the control surface is visible. When you exit edit
mode, the control surface disappears.
One caveat. If you open the Link Editor (LE), expand the nurbs node, and enter it,
you will see that the editable shape node and the nurbs surface node both have
connectors for the vertex count. Do Not edit these values. Editing these values
will cause trueSpace to hang. In a future release, I intend to handle user-interaction
with these controls: if you change the value on one of these connectors, then
the surfaces will update accordingly. Now, I have to look into this, to see if it is
possible, and necessary.
Please let me know what you think, so far.
Thanks!
