MY animation

Post by MikomDude »

Here is a short preview I put together from different renders. It show you how my storyboard is drawn up only with images of my models :) I also want to add that it really sucks and that YouTube made the quality even worse than it already was...
Anyway, here is the beginning of my storyboard:

*Music: Bear McCreary, "Prelude to war"*

sure quality of image in a video on youtube is not the best but it is to show an idea. you have a good starting point to make a good movie. the sky will be very important for your movie. black cloud can represent the approach of war, sun through a hole can represent hope, etc... I advise you to test before starting. also some cameras could be as the vision of a bird observed planes. that help to imagine movment.

Well, you remember that I asked how to make a camera follow an object? That will be one part of the lift off sequence of the Gladiator, then a birds-eye view following the Gladiator when it's gets airborne.
After you told me how to make the follow-animation, I gave it a try. I'm not sure, maybe you already saw this on my YouTube channel. ;)

Also, here is the first image in the movie. It's kind of hard to see in the slideshow and since I thought it was actually quite a good scene, I just thought I'd post it. :)

it is like a game with a gun to shoot! what you can do is to merge several camera with the plane to have different view (behind, ground for looping :) , pilot,...). create different movie then cut them with the time line of your video editor software to have a good action. If you know how to cut before you can also do only a part for each view (setting from key A to key B in the dialog box of the animation render). you win time.

I'll also have to figure out how to render it first, I'm animating it in workspace but I'm not sure how to render a workspace animation...

Here is another silly idea for my animation, a steam-punk atomic bomb. :) I've decided not to use it for my animation though.

Re: MY animation, Might take a bit longer

My computer has been working terribly lately, well, the past 2 months actually but now I finally got an answer on what might be the problem. The guy from the computer shop said that it probably was driver for the motherboard, graphics card or something like that was malfunctioning. Apparently it happens all the time. Therefore he told me to reformat my whole computer ( ). This might take a while so I'll start making backups of everything and put it all on my external HD. I really hope this will fix it and that making the animation will work better.
I still have another computer, an older one, that I can use so I wont disappear but I wont be as responsive as before. I've set up computers many times before so I hope it will go quite fast (unless I totally screw up).

So see you then :bananahi:
