LOVING THE NEW DYNAMIC TOPOLOGY FOR SCULPTING! Allcaps intended, not in rage but quite the contrary!
I am liking Blender more and more. Just takes a while to learn.

I'm on it James, like a moth to a flame. Still haven't used over half of what it has but; I'm on it.

Re: Blender 2.66 released
Blender and Messiah Studio are next on my try out list. Although I like a user friendly interface too most of my gripes with software are about bugs, lack of abilities, and tools that don't work. I haven't tried Blender yet but it certainly sounds like it has plenty of ability.

Re: Blender 2.66 released
I have started to try the sculpting in Blender, and the autofacceting in the topology option in sculpt is great! It works much nicer than Sculptris as it also has an auto collapse, and you can avoid those annoying overlapping geometry that you can easily get when sculpting. I also like the tools, much more varied and customizable, maybe not as intuitive to use them, but not too bad!
Also... you HAVE DETAIL LAYERS, with sculpting you can totally do major sculpt things, then the details, then everything else later in layers, kinda like mudbox.. I love it, might become my main sculpting app from this update on.
I also have used Blender to edit videos, it does the job quite nicely for a free app, much better than the other free apps, it's just a bit slow on the preview display sometimes, but my video card at home works nicely. Wish my work had video cards like the one I've got...
