spotlight bug

Post by Wigand »

I noticed a strange bug.
I deleted every light in the scene.
Then set a new spotlight-
then an object disapears.

I tested it again. Then no object disapeared but the wire became invisible.

in a model side ts76? switch to a workspace side and set new scene. Then switch back and it should render only whats in the modeler side.

Yes, i know that bug.. do this.. just for fun! jajaja
Pick the spotlight and try to illuminate the object..the object will be visible again.. Seems the wireframe needs to be illuminated to be visible.. so the solution for that bug is adding an ambient light.. will not be rendered on vray and it will fix the problem. Also if you don't want to see any color or light from the ambient light, pick a black color.

I've seen this once before too, but didn't know the cause. I added it to the very short list of bugs on the wiki:

http://www.clintons3d.com/w/index.php?t ... espace7.61"

Note that anyone can create a user name, no email or other info needed, to add to and edit the wiki pages.
