Re: Happy Birthday to Michael and dreamcatcher107 !
Thanks for the birthday wishes from all of you, and I apologize as I just found this thread. I am Dreamcatcher107, a licensed Architect in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Colorado, US of 20+ years. I am also a new truespace user (but not a newbie to 3D as I have spent the last fifteen years developing skills in Archicad,a program designed by architects and used predominantly the to model buildings.
This is my first foray into organis modeling, as my wife and I have horses and became associated with another horseman (a competitive jumper) who sorely needed our combined skillsets. His marketing documents and logo were a sorry thing to try and fundraise with. I felt the need to develop a 3D horse logo complete with animation for his website, hence my discovery of ruespace.
I have recently completed the model and applied dx materials, so I am ready to start the still rendering and animation aspects of this project. I'm still working through the learning curve, though. |I will pot my problems in another forum so that I might find the solutions.
Thanks again for the kind thoughts. dreamcatcher107@gmail.com

Re: Happy Birthday to Michael and dreamcatcher107 !
Hi and welcome!
There are a zillion handy ways to utilize trueSpace with Architectural work, among them having a realtime online walkthrough with prospective clients inside your 3D Creation using trueServe to host the scene online and truePlay for the Client to experience the realtime scene with you.
Also, and I know you said you already created your horse logo model, but you can get a free horse for Poser or Daz Studio (and Daz Studio is free) load the horse model into either of those programs, texture it, set poses for the horse and hair in the breeze, and export the model as an OBJ file for import into trueSpace for additional modelling or rendering.
There are quite a few folks in this Community with some degree of Architectural Design experience, including myself, so post often and get to know us all.
Welcome aboard!
