Does Internet Explorer 8 give anyone problems?

My computer keeps wanting me to change to Internet Explorer 8. I have been hesitant to accept Automatic updates or to change to IE8 as I have had problems in the past with progams not working after the change. Just wondering before I make any changes that may not be reversible.

Didn't cause any noticeable problems here.
I mostly use Firefox anyway so take my advice accordingly.

I use the IE View plugin in FF for sites that require IE (Live Mail, I'm looking at you)

I didn't have any issues with it, and a few websites are not going to support the older versions of IE for much longer.
