particleIllusion is a standalone particle effects application that is easy to use, fast, and powerful. Use it as an animation download program to quickly add amazing particle effects to any image, animation or video. Since its release in 1998, particleIllusion has been used in countless films, TV commercials and shows, including Enterprise, Star Trek Voyager, Max Steel, and That 70's Show to name a few.

Thatsa quote from the site and its not wrong it has been used in movies and TV very often...

Animated Texture Map with Transparencey is a 2011 short film by special effects genius Ranger0101. The film gained acclaim among Ranger's peers in the world of computer generated effects. It features metaphorical images of a saucer shape rising on a pole as a layer of clouds forms and the saucer rises above them. Susie Menerawful, interviewed outside the Fourth Street Screen avant garde theater, said after viewing most of the film, "I was so moved! The holistic pro-biotic energy balanced my chakra centers and aligned my aura with the circle of female Earth spirits."

Renowned movie critic Finis said the film was interesting but that effects needed work. He noted that the cloud effect seems confined to a rectangular or box shape whose edges are clearly visible in the film and that the crisp edge of clouds on the saucer as it emerges from the cloud layer distract from the film's innovative artistic function.

Sorry to hear that people are upset. It was only meant to be humorous. Ranger was initially unhappy that no one had given feedback about the animation itself. I provided an observation about the texture effect (edges visible) within the humor.

After reading all the post and I found no insults in the messages from Finis. I did find that he was trying
to be funny.
I think Ranger0101 read his post the wrong way.
Both are great members here and have no need to be insulting. So laugh it off as being misinterpreted.

If I was going to be insulting here I would just say your grandmother wears Army Clothes... :bananadrum:
(I hope see doesn't)

Sorry for overreacting

I guess the whole thing hit me in a weird way... and I acted like a big baby.. and on Christmas Day to
top it off... I'm sorry about that too...

I know that no one meant any harm (and most certainly no harm was done)..

So in conclusion... :bananadrum: Happy New Year Everybody :bananacheers:

I expect some awsome stuff from
from the folks around here in the
comming year.
