Main Challenge Thread here

I had an idea years ago that will fit this nicely. An angel (halo = torus) sits or squats in a position that is a combination of kneeling on one knee and a fetal pose. His head lowered in sadness but also anger (fallen). His wings are folded across his back. He can't spread his wings because knives are stabbed through them into his back. Trickles of blood run from them through the feathers.

In the original idea, for a short film, the angel had been betrayed by his charge (the human he watches over) and fell from grace due to anger. The blood stained wing feathers transform into blades and that spreads until he becomes a monster. He finds his charge to claim vengeance but becomes good again and is restored.

I might not enter the challenge because I'm doing Throne of Spring, learning about Plant Factory, have too much work (oh yeah, work, better go do that). I'll do this picture, challenge or not, when I can.

How to include a leaf?

He is covered by it, or he is lying on it. Or it's a large part of the background.
