I was a child of 8 when the greatest wish I had was a steam engine BBÖ214 one of the biggest of its kind when it was running.
Unfortunatly only a few weeks before christmas they broke the mold for the electric trainset of this series and so i couldnt get it.
I was realy sad ! My uncle looked around the next year and managed to get one a very rare piece and for the next Christmas it was under the tree.
My uncle died 6 years ago and as a fond memory I´m going to model it in 3d .
It will take a long time to finish because I´ve got other projects running but I just need to do it now.

Re: BBÖ 214
My hobby when I was young in the 1960:ies (about 40 years ago) was to build with my MÄRKLIN (http://www.maerklin.de/de/index.html" ) I still have the tracks, lokomotives and wagons at my attic. I dreamed of bying the big steamengines at that time but couldn't afford to buy them. It would be interesting to see your development of building one.

Success with this project, Rayman.
This is going to take some time, this locomotive is full of details but that makes it a real challenge.
