We had the question why is everything going so slow on this forum.....
Any hint where Marcel is and all the others..
Some artists threads have last been updated a year ago... ?
Its not summer anymore...

Curious, I am also on another private forum for professionals... that board is slower than I have ever seen. Posting photos or 3d work gets little to no responses. There I think it is because of the economy, many people are forced to take on additional work, and put more time in to do it... Me I am traveling 100 miles to work and than another 100 to get home.

marcel had said some time ago that he was taking a sabbatical from 3d.. he still lurks here from time to time but his main project is his foundation for now.....

i am still waiting to get my shoulder fixed so I really can't do much of anything... except type with one hand.... lol...

and other forums have been and continue to be slow....

Even a forum for lawn care is slow and it usually is active in the warm times and slow in the winter. I think the economy is a major part of that. People have too much real world stuff to do to make a living.

Been working mostly 7 days a week for awhile, count my blessings while they last. Was going to take a short vocation with 3d and it turned out to be ahmmm rather long. Plus looking at other 3d packages none seem to really excite me enough to invest money and then time into them. Thinking about doing a holoween animation to regain some proficiency in animation, 3d and stuff. I've seen forum after forum slow way down. Forums are competing with all the new tech available now with smart phones, game boxes etc. Folks are using other ways to communicate, play, find info etc. Add the recession which is looking more like a depression in aspects is not helping.

Sad but it's true, work and lack of free time in my case are the main problems.. also i don't find any good reason to spend time on another application.. i don't trust on far horizons..

My nearest encounter with 3d nowdays is playing minecraft hehehehhe.. but i have plans to back to work in 3d as freelancer.. as usual, money motivates people.

Is up to us keep working on 3d.. is up to us..
