another test of realtime ambient occlusion.......... 3 skylight and 1 directional light

import the monkey from blender :D

ps: there is a bug in HW setting if you set it to lights setting then closed truespace then load the scene you will see jagged shadow you will have to change it to poison disk shadow you will have nice soft shadow but then if you closed again then reloaded the scene the jagged shadow is there again you will change the HW setting to light setting then soft shadow comeback... very weird :?:

I like this one than the first post...

I like that last picture.
Would you share the light settings you used?

Sorry for the delay reply I haven't browse the subforum deeply.... I made a mistake about the lights there's actually, 1 ambient light , 3 skylight and 1 directional light.....you must adjust your scene or directional lights because the shadow might be disoriented if you put other scene.... Also I have found out that using yafray light are much better than the ts lights. And also I don't know if is my hardware or a bug in workspace you have to change the hardware setting to "use light setting " to "poison disk shadow" and vice versa if shadow doesn't show softness or once loaded quit ts then restart it again. Theres a bigdome also in the monkey scene so all are inside the bigdome...

You could bake the AO in Blender, then have a baked version and the monkey to compare your true AO along side each other
Actually SMAK does AO baking better than Blender although Blender is faster
