Cell Illustration using TrueSpace for work

Post by CdeB »

Hi,

Elsewhere I promised some art.

I was doing my first zoom presentation at an online conference in my field of research. All my slides were out of date, so I dug out TrueSpace and the cell model I made before Caligari closed, did some tweaking including adding a new component and then rendered out.

The callouts were done in PowerPoint.

Its a illustration of the pancreatic beta cell, best known for making and secreting insulin, and how it senses blood glucose and releases insuilin.

Happy to answer any further questions on this subject :D
