Using SubDivision layers in Modeler

Post by Emmanuel »

TrueSpace's SubDivision tool let you create organic objects with soft corners by adding vertices on your model.

In trueSpace 7.6, this tool is broken though. When you right-clic to edit your mesh, you can't select any face, edge or vertice. The reason is because the 3d controls (the little spheres that let you select the subdivision layer you are editing) are located INSIDE the object, and thus get selected instead of the faces. Since these 3D controls can be turned off in the options of the Preferences panel, you can simply toggle its visibility and keep using this nice tool just like in tS6.6.
