Is there a way to sweep edges or vertices in TS?
Just thought I'd ask as some other softwares allow extruding edges and points on a model. I also use Anim8or 097 preview and love it's options for extruding parts on a model. I've tried doing this in TS but could never find any options for doing this. Thanks, Leroy.

Workspace side extrudes edges, but vertices proves to be a little buggy I found. Have to experiment.

You can extrude edges in model side using plugin called polytools, but not vertices. Your face or rectangle has to have been created as single sided object. Right click on create plane tool and set it to single-sided.

Is the plugin available and will it work for TS 6.6? I did a search but didn't find a download link.FHembree wrote:You can extrude edges in model side using plugin called polytools, but not vertices. Take a look into the Manual.

Limitation for unregistration:
The maximum number of vertex is limited to 200.
and hey...thanks god...you have the codeRegistration:
Install the "Magnet 1.00" Tool.
Right-click the "Magnet 1.00" icon to open the PolyTools Registration panel.
Enter the registration-code and push Registration button.

Re: Is there a way to sweep edges or vertices in TS?
Another easy option for extruding edges and points is to use Anim8or 097 Preview and then export the model to TS afterwards. It's a simple subdivision modeler with some very cool extrusion tools.
Update: Anim8or can by default sweep individual faces unlike TS which will show a message that faces connected by vertices can not be swept. The object can be export as 3DS and opened in TS modelside although the scaling is a bit different and the object will be quite large compared to the defaults used by TS. Anim8or can also export X and OBJ as well.
