Here is a picture of unusual breeder plants I made with Plant Studio. Working on materials in Blender. Since I didn't model these I'll model zenias for an entry.

Swamp Flower

Modeled in Carrara. Start with a sphere to cut out the petals, applied smoothing. Added a stem and two leaves, made stamen. Then I used a surface replicator in a spherical pattern to make the plant more spread and representing on swamp plant with flowers.

Hey guys? Can't have much of a contest with only one.
Anyone else... smile when that special first flower pops? So which one is it?
My favorite is this small blue one that comes from a bulb; can't remember the name right now.
That's what I would enter if I could.

The voting begins guys. Good luck and a big thanks (I'm guessin' from all) - for those that participated. You gave us inspiration.

My favorite is the Crocus, with a color close to yours James. Beautiful color coming after the gray of Winter.

Congratulations James!
I also liked the idea of using a sphere as the beginning shape. Will keep it in mind.
