Not much time? Make a simple scene with one or a few objects. Have nothing else to do all month? Model all of Tahiti.

What's on a ship? What to do on a ship? What's at a tourist destination? What might happen there? What could you do there? What items, scenes, places, activities, history, people, etc. are associated with it?

Cool theme in this challenge. It has got my mind thinking of an idea....hmmmmmm
For all the lazy "3D Artist" ahem, cough cough.
Do a freaking beach ball!!!

Note this time saver: you only have to model the main object(s). You can use your old stuff, free or purchased stuff, program generated stuff for the rest. So you could make quite a scene but all you modeled was that beach ball. Also, one or two pictures are allowed per entry.

Ah bummer. Being in France means I don't have my software or computer to with on.

@Steinie - You put a devil 'naner near the word "idea". I'm scared. If James did that I'd hide.

@Draise - Rule change coming up allowing more ways of making entries. Electronic or computer methods required but the 3D modeling and rendering not required. Hero/main object(s) still have to be original work but now you can make/draw them with painting programs etc. So you can draw art on your phone like you have done before and enter it. (Hey, girlfriend + France , challenge )

Rule change (rule 5) to allow a variety of electronic means beyond 3D modeling and rendering. So, Draise, you can do some of that cell phone art like you have done before!

I just realized today (Mar 7) that the rules stated the main character/object should be made fresh. Well, in my mind I focused on the idea as the 'main'. The picture in the background is mine from a trip to Europe, boat and chairs new, but the guy I had just finished (will be used in other anim projects in the pipeline) and thought would be a cool quick use/test for him. I apologize if it is deemed cheating.

No worries. It's all for fun. Hero object etc. wide open to interpretation. Really, you didn't even have to be on-theme, "or you can invent a preposterous story about how it is associated with a cruise" so who cares about rule details.

"the idea as the 'main'" So it is with all art. Creativity, imagination, ideas and emotions make art.

Here's an off topic story semi-related story. I was talking with a guy who works at the voting places for elections. I noted that I think enough fake illegal "votes" get through the safeguards ( ) that sometimes the wrong guy gets the office. He had complete faith in the system and thought very few got through. They don't even ID voters. In some locales there were many more votes than registered voters sometimes even more registered voters than residents. People who don't exist, illegal aliens, other non-citizens, felons, etc. register or vote with ease.

What does this have to do with Dragneye? Say they determine an official who has been in office for some time only won due to cheating. Dragneye is the honorable guy not wanting to win improperly. Deliberate cheating? No. Fun? Yes. Real voters picked you? Yes. No problem.

Now, what to put in a box?
