Method 2, starting on page 10, is simplest.
Attached is the manual, in zip format.

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
I set up the sever, so now the problems appears...
How can I get my correct IP and Port? I used a site that Trueblue indicates: http://checkip.dyndns.org/"
This is the IP that appeared: 201.35.252.105
I tried to connect by TS 7.61 putting //ip/1109 or //ip/2001 and both doesn't work!
So how can I solve? Also I'm Online in the TrueServe so if someone try to enter and enter you can talk with me...
Thanks in Advance!

Hi Leon.
We may see a pattern emerging here...
are you behind a router, or is your computer connected directly to the internet?
Did you follow one of the procedures to create a space / portal?
If so, do you see it in the network encapsulator node of trueServe?
EDIT:
I'll have to check out that site, and compare the results for my machine, to the
ip that works at home.

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
From Windows, open a DOS window:
Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt
in this window, type:
ipconfig
then press Enter.
The IP address you get will be your 'local ip address', behind the router.
You should be able to login to trueServe, within your local network, by using that ip address.
That's the first test. If you connect, that tells you, you have correctly setup trueServe.

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
I tried to enter, no luck, just hangs on the word "connecting" and never connects, same as it does when servers are down.
we gotta resolve these router ip port command issues once and for all, a lot of us want to set up trueServers now and almost all of us are behind routers.

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
I know I had to go into my router settings and open up a port to get the Multiverse server to be seen by the Multiverse client application. I am assuming it is the same with TrueServ and either TrueSpace or TruePlay. I opened it up as if I was hosting a gaming server and then trying to play that gaming server from the same computer. Does this make sense?

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
More technical details... Froo ping my IP with no problems, but can't connect... because of router settings, we'll now discover how to set up the router, I don't know if it will be fast, but if all runs okay everybody is invited to the Saturday Night at a Brazilian server.
My router is Speedtouch 510, if anyone wants to help...
Thanks in Advance

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
Okay, I'll utilize this weekend with the Dead day that make it have 3 days off school! SO LET'S GO!!!
First of all, the main problem of this is...
.... THE ROUTER, this little electronic piece just make that confuse
So who wants to help me I could send a pic of my router's page by email (just PM me), I also will try to find a manual to indicates where the ports are set.
I'm really with will to do that, then I'll start to create Shared Space Scenes...
If you think that is better/faster do it by a Instant Messenger just PM me with your Skype and/or MSN.
Other thing is, WTH I the router do that

Re: Trueserve Set Up Prop ²
I was planning to set up my server NOW with the Booxie's Tutorial (Thank you Booxie)! But my father are working with network and internet things now and I can't consume too much connection, ie, no more downloads and youtube (of course I'm not prohibited but it's better don't) also I don't want to mess with the configuration because I can cause some kind of problem.
So sorry folks. You will need to wait until new year to the first South America Server.
