I don't see many young folks here, maybe because they are with their friends at some club or because the computer is only for MSN and Facebook, but I know that someones like it, like me and weevil. If you are young, like 3D arts post here or if you are a father, uncle or friend of some young 3D artist post here. When I mean young is under 21 years old.
I start this thread to discuss: Causes of the small rate of 3d artists here and in the world.
Post the artworks of those people and show which is possible do even being a young people.
Discuss about learning curve in those age and incentive adults to teach their children if they like it.
Know who is young here...

Re: Association of Young 3D Artists
It's a rather closed little place here, what we don't see from looking around here from young people we won't at all on the forums, we'd just be re-posting something that's already there, simply because if you're on a forum to post work, it'd be to post your work surely? Posting other people's work might not happen here....for something like this to take off you'd need a much broader public space.
But personally, recognising young talent is nice I suppose, but if you decide to keep it to this forum, does age really matter?

Not at all, but you need to recognize that young people don't do much art nowadays, and someone that can escape from that closed teen world of futile things, you are already a winner!does age really matter?
Yeah, maybe post artworks isn't a good idea, so let's close this step.
I think other goal of this is incentive people to teach young guys, I'd love to help with that! I have some experience, principally because I discover all by my self in the first years, maybe because I didn't know english that time and still don't
So it is: Know, discover, incentive.
