Nice entry, Darkmage. :bananacool2:

Love the water effect you managed there. Combined with the sky you have chosen it gives the whole image a very nice serene feel. Great work and good luck when the voting starts.

I had an idea but it is too gruesome and horrible. Not fun-Bond-villain but psycho-evil-villain. Too challenging for a months work anyway. Maybe a more appropriate idea will appear.

Did involve squeezing the life-juice out of small puppies and then roasting them over an open fire; serving them up on a cabbage bed?

That's what I was thinking before I found another path.

I would loved to have join this MMC but Summer outdoor activities are taking
much of my time. (not a bad thing)
My interest is there!
I'm just glad to see excellent entries!

What!!! You mean you went all the way up to the planet's surface and went outside. What about all the deadly radiation and swarms of killer insects. I'm gonna have to discuss this with my Commune Leader.

(Edit)

Well I spoke to him and he says you were just pulling my leg and that I should forget all about going outside and just concentrate on getting on with all the laundry/cleaning/cooking.

Nice one James, thanks for your support.

bitkar - re your sea fortress image, dunno if it is just me, but I can't see the actual image, just an icon/placeholder. You might want to reload it prior to the poll.

Just over 24 hours remaining before the MMC vote closes so if you have not cast your vote yet, please support the work and effort of those who partook in this months' challenge.

The July MMC poll is now officially closed and the winner is...cue drum-roll... :bananadrum: ... BITKAR! :superbanana: :bananamouse: :bananaclaus: :bananadevil: :bananacool2:

Many congrats and well done to him and also my personal thanks to all those who created entries for the challenge. A particular good crop if I may so so myself. And thanks too to all you voters out there. :bananathumb: :bananathumb: :bananathumb:

Good luck with the next challenge bitkar; looking forward to see what you dream up.

Incidentally, are the various Challenge Galleries still locked? IE require admin privileges to post images? If so, could someone please update the MMC and SMC galleries. In addition, dunno if it is just me, but I can't actually see the images for SMC #59 and #62 in the Winners Gallery.
