"I am here to announce that we will be taking down trueSpace7.61 on or about November 25th. We will still keep the standalone version of trueSpace (without Lightworks) and I hope the site itself will stay for a while longer. I see the new comunity site is up and more active. I will be monitoring it as well as this site.

You guys are a great bunch, recent posts here are pretty impressive, it is good to see the artwork and comunity servers taking hold. I never get tired of extoling the talent of trueSpace users, so many of you accomplished so much with trueSpace. As I said before, we made this world a better place. You guys are large part of what we have done together and I plan to hang around and stay in touch. I owe you that much.

But I am driven by technology too. I see some amazing new technology coming down with all kinds of mobile devices (3D vision is my new favorite), many-core hardware (most of it in GPU's it seems) social networks and games. There was not that much explicit 3D authoring technology on the market visible recently but have no fear, it is all coming back, in new form perhaps but the skills you have learned will be quite valuable in the next decade and beyond. I myself am quite fired up about new possibilities, I know I keep saying that without much evidence but you just have to trust me"
