Sat outside and listened to the neighbor's party, they had a live steel drum/reggae band.
Pretty cool but it wore thin after 4 hours.
Rich people are weird.
It started raining again and it quieted back down.

Re: 3D Artists Reporting Back
Just back from here, it wasn't all that enjoyable due to the heat index of 97F (36C).
The best part was the drive there and back in the frosty air conditioned car.
I'm thinking a jump in the lake is in order. Cross post to 'Short Term Plans'

Yeah 97 is little chilly. Maybe borderline toasty.
If you want to get a narrative established, the crucial thing is to pepper it with errors, questionable things. So that the critics will seize on those and not question the basic narrative. -- Richard Lindzen

Re: 3D Artists Reporting Back
Feels like 97 due to humidity or actual 97 and 74% humidity? If it is the second one y'all keep that in the Enchanted Mitten, the Land of Enchantment doesn't want that. Expected 93 today both "feels like" and actual.

Burned the giant brush pile and prepped a large supply of campfire wood for next weekend's party.
Went up fast and furious due to a steady southwest breeze.
I'm now emitting a rich, smoky aroma.

Family reunion was a success.
It didn't rain, but it was cloudy and cool; at least we didn't swelter.
No broken bones, no fistfights, and only minor burns.
And I'm still emitting a rich, smoky aroma.

It's snowing.
Not hard enough to consider waxing the skiis, but it's a start.

Nothin' but sun here. Cloudless sky. 64 degrees (f) but feels warm. The ski resorts like the snow the mountains sometimes get now. They'll have to wait this year.
