Adobe Premiere 4.2 on Youtube from 1996>>>

Post by Krowbarh »

Here's a good one...

The guy mentions $20,000 in equipment & soft for this Premiere setup on a Mac that nowadays you can get soft free as abandonware & better performance on a $20 dollar 20 year-old laptop...You SAVE by using obsolete soft & vintage machines....

if you want to edit video, just buy something else that the Premiere... DaVinchi Resolve is great and there is a free version. And there are other good softwares too. Old Premiere will be useless for even fullHD video I think.

Yes...Probably useless for any HD but there seems to be a change, a contingency to yearn for the retro by evidently a great many peeps out there...

Rejecting HD & billion polygon models rendered in ultra-high rez with nothing left to the imagination...

Here's Peshay Studio Set 1996 uploaded like 4 years ago with 2 & 1/4 MILLION views & 96,000 thumbs UP which is a string of different musics with Bryce3D render slideshow from the time with comments of the most positive nature...

You would be hard put to find THAT kind of acceptance on the 'new-fangled'...Personally I don't see such a difference as people are watching & interacting on devices so small why not bring back the 320x240 realm? Back in 2006-2009 many balking at the 1000x800 pixel netbooks but NOW watching-playing on much smaller...

Many things to ponder bitkar...MANY THINGS!!

i dont know what others do... I use mainly my PC with QHD (1440p) monitor... I would die watching 480p and less. Nostalgia is one thing, usability is the other. Iam not talking about 8k or 16k video nonsense... but at least 1080p is a standard today and its good.
