Running trueSpace on ReactOS ?

Wondering how trueSpace may run under ReactOS, the free Windows OS alternative...

Did anyone installed that OS by chance ?
Is trueSpace 100% compatible ?

I was looking at it way back... but:

As ReactOS is still in alpha stage development, we encourage would-be testers to first try it out on a virtual machine before taking the plunge with real hardware. Of course regardless of whether you do a physical or virtual install there are some basic requirements to keep in mind.

So my conclusion is - this is not a way to go now. At least beta or early final stages are good to test and use it. You can test it, but coz it is still in alpha stage, there is no real use for this thing yet anyway.

I gave a try, installing ReactOS on a unused hard disk.
Install is fast, I could install some drivers but none of my USB mouses are recognized (even through a USB>PS/2 adapter).
There is a "store" that connects to the internet and allow to download and install compatible programs.
But without a mouse, the experience is turning short

I like the idea of a free windows OS though. I hope ReactOS will become a usable alternative in the future.

I like that idea too... but its been alpha for ages already (and it cant even run usb mouse). It doesnt seem to be moving very fast :D

Have you tried to install a mouse driverpackage? Or have you downloaded the drivers for your mouse? It should work !
