Well I figured no one's gonna have time during the holidays anyway so it's going to be either before Christmas or not at all...
Should be enough time to get something done though. One weekend afternoon should be enough

Good challenge theme! Another option is to have it go until the the middle of January or later. That allows for more extensive moon bases or scenes. The current deadline is good too since it is like the old speed modeling challenge. Setting an achievable goal and working efficiently become part of it.

I think the challenge is too short for what the scene could be.
Maybe run this until the 24th and have the poll 25rd to 28th? With shopping, decorating, eating and drinking I am not sure
I would have enough time to join in. Did I mention the drinking?...
Just a thought.

Very well, I have extended the deadline to the 24th with the poll running until the 30th to give people enough time to check in to the site and vote amidst all the festive fun!

If I get an idea for something easy to do I'll enter. So far when I try to think of a moon base my mind goes to the movie Iron Sky with nazis from the moon and their space zeppelins. Think Santa, think Santa ....

@trueblue "moon" base, ha ha!
Looks like Mikom will win by default. I'm still not having ideas. Everyone is probably busy with holiday stuff. Could be good to extend the challenge into or through next month. It is a good theme.
Come on y'all. Enter!
