Hi Fellas,
long time no see. It's been a while since I've posted anything but here is a project. It's a military vehicle from the second world war which I find very interesting because of it's shape and details. I started this end 2016 but still working on it. It's done in good old trueSpace 7.61.

Re: AEC Armoured Car Mk1
This one of the best trueSpace models I've seen in a long time! Beautiful work! How did you do the bolts? Beautiful work. And how on earth did you do the tires?! I find tires the hardest model I've done.
Keep it up, can't wait to see the final.

Thanks for the compliment. trueSpace isn't the best modeler out there and pretty much outdated but I still manage to get something nice out of it, be it with a little struggle here and there. The tire profile was done using one segment and make copies of them, gluing them together en then use the 'bend' tool to create the circular shape. I"ll post an image asap to show you the trick.

Re: AEC Armoured Car Mk1
Yeah, 9 years is.. a little outdated, haha.
But considering it all, the SDS modeling is still pretty on par with most software, other than circulizing geometry selection and quick extrudes - or better arrays - I am refering to the WS. the MS does have good bending and some extra tools like lattices and the like that are standard. And it does have a pretty good instance placement tool.
But yeah... some procedural modeling from Houdini or Softimage or modifier stacks from Blender or 3DMax does make TS feel dated.
Hope to see the final model sometime. Keep at it.!
