It has been quiet here lately, but not my 3D work.. so.. thought to show some love here and post some art.
This is a project under NDA, but I have some of the angles I didn't use in the final product, and thought to share. Here I did most of the small detail modeling in Softimage, rocks in Bforaritsts, the layout and trees in Bforartists, along with tree sculpts - UV's in Bforartists, and textures and the like in Krita and Gimp and also Bforaritsts, and I then exported everything from Bforartists into Unreal Engine and rendered these out at nearly realtime. I included an overview shot of the scene. Ran at 15-25 fps on my new GTX 1060.
Rendering was a piece of cake.
I am pretty much in love with Unreal Engine, and happy with Bforartists so far.
And yes, the world has grass most of the areas where there are cameras.
