Voice Acting for game: Ancestors

Post by froo »

Hi everyone!
This is what I have been working on the past few months. Nellja and I have a recording studio in the basement space; oh so quiet.
So a group of us booked work on a video game: Ancestors. The music producer and video game developer are based in Warsaw Poland.
We filmed a good portion of our recording efforts, and Destructive Creations - the game developer, edited the footage. The video is
shown below.

Talk soon, you all are awesome!

Cool! Great that you can work from home too.
Critique: While each actor sounds good the voices sound similar too. There is not much difference from the nature of the characters either. It would be difficult to tell one character from another just by the sound of the voices.

It was awesome to see you at the end Froo.

Does Nellja you're wife have German heritage?

Thanks for the feedback Finis. :)
What we recorded, is what the client requested. It will be interesting to see how it sounds in the finished game.
The characters do not have names; they are 'German Infantry', 'German Spearman', etc.

Draise - yes, Nellja is of German heritage. :)

Ah, didn't know how much "artistic license" y'all had with the voices. Do what the client requested? But that's like professionalism or something!
