Close enough. It is a similar lightning related phenomenon: a blue jet.spacekdet wrote:Is it a sprite?

That was too easy. It is the model number of some Fat Man bombs and of the gadget, the first one. I've been to Trinity Site. It is about 100 miles north of here. When I get my website back online I'll post a link to my entry about it.trueBlue wrote:A very "Fat Man" with a SAD history?

What is it? This is a hard one unless you've been there. Extra points for guessing it before clues.

That was too hard. Clues: distances to roughly locate the place, it is a landmark, "use other doors ..." could be looked up on the web. The doors are in the McDonald ranch house at Trinity Site. I have an urge to visit there again. It is open to the public again in April I think.
Someone post a new what is it.
