Here is how it comes into Ms with luuv..

Procedural shark anim export with WS OBJ EXporter
Re: Procedural shark anim export with WS OBJ EXporter
Hi Rayman.
Well, it looks like LUUV always places imported OBJ files at 0,0,0.
I could be wrong though. But I used blender to export models that are away from 0,0,0.
And they imported into LUUV at 0,0,0.
Now, why are you reimporting into LUUV?
It looks like Vue is doing the same thing, though I am not sure if that is intended.
Could it be that animated import of OBJ files is intended for character animation sequences only?
i.e., position data is ignored?
Can you import animation sequences in OBJ format from other sources and retain the position of the objects?
thanks

update..:
Its not your exporter Froo its both the importer Luuv and that python script that puts it into the same place
Iimported a series of your sharks and they align pretty well along a path but the strange thing is that this plugin lets
you choose between aligned and not.......

Re: Procedural shark anim export with WS OBJ EXporter
ok; I can't make the shark visible but I think I know what is required in the way of a
Python-generated GUI interface for the script:
Textbox for:
* Basefilename
* FrameOffset
* Padding
and pass this data to the python script. So I may not really need to see the animation in Vue, though I would like to.
I am sure I am missing something in regards to that.
