SNAPCUT

Post by Prodigy »

Hi guys, i found this nice development from students from Minnesota's university and adobe.

http://www.juew.org/projects/SnapCut/snapcut.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

seems they have the tool running on after effects 8-)

I love this kind of simplicity.

Interesting.
It is very easier for a man to outline an object in a complex image (it is just a question of time to do that). even if the image is blur. to do the same thing, the computer need complex calcul but when it can't do that, human can finish the work manually. The brain visualize the object in less one second. he know it is a man and visualize his leg, arm and head. the brain don't search similar color or contrast but only all part of the man. for a computer, it is only form, color or contrast. Try to do what the brain do is very complex for a soft. artificial intelligence is the goal of programmers. but the way is long...
