Glass:

This one shows a bug in the YafaRay 0.1.2 beta in that it would crash unless the glass mesh was set to 180 degrees smoothing in the Misc tab of the render panel. Version 0.1.1 didn't have a problem with any smoothing angle value.

Edit: One more thing about the glass scene. It was imported from a Blender export and the light was so far away that the scene was black. I fixed it by changing the light's attenuation threshold from 0.05 to 0.005 That fixes the light but then the shadow was only partially shown. To fix that i changed the light's depth bias from 64 to 32.

Note the fuzziness of the reflection. This was rendered with YafaRay 0.1.2 beta and the fuzziness was much clearer in the YafaRay 0.1.1 version given the same parameter values for the render.

Outdoors sample

When rendered with YafaRay 0.1.2 beta render was washed out. It was fixed by changing the background power from 0.6 to 0.2

This one is a little tricker to share. The zip archive has the scene and a floor tile image. You have to go into the material for the floor, Mesh_011, and reassign the image to the diffuse channel. Image below also shows the z buffer/channel output from YafaRay 0.1.2 beta

Edit: Note the sparkles in the Yaf 0.1.2 beta render. They don't appear when rendered from YafaRay 0.1.1 with the same render settings.

Edit: The sparkles are less noticeable in YafaRay 0.1.5, but the entire scene is washed out. This could be that it renders differently than earlier versions or it could be a bug. Too early to tell at this time.
