Wow! thanks for all these great links! Ive only heard of two of those engines!

For stills this may be great to learn one really well!... but animation? I only saw one or two that could do basic translation animation sequences..

Do you know how to use them all? Which one is your favorite?

Do you know which ones would integrate morph, rigged and other type of animation? (or is that a feature that most external render engines lack as a rule of thumb?)

maybe you could note what makes it available for tS... i didnt see direct support in most of them. I want to know the reason why they are in the list. Do they support .scn files or what?

Nope. None of them works with tS from what i know. Kerky maybe. I think this renderer works with exported obj files.

exactly... nowehere is mentioned tS as supported. This list is useless and disinformative. I think this topic should be reworked or deleted, as its more confusing than has some information value.

Ehm, I think it's very handy, I researched all these links when he posted this. This forum is about united 3D artists in all their softwares and methods, not just of trueSpaces..........

The oldest part of Truespace is its render engine .. thats where you see the age...
I used Keerythea all the time with very good results and its very easy to export the models from TS...or any other modeler...
but you do your materials inside Kerky...
I use Thea nowadays which is from the same author but 5x faster... and its better but its not free..
