Its been a longer while!

Post by nigec »

I do keep putting my head around the door, I just never have anything useful to say!

Some bits n pieces:
Gargoyle; Zbrush, Sculptis, Sketchup, Thea render.. plants are Xfrog I think

Bates Motel,
I didn't do the model, I needed to use a load of instances to find a bug and I just came across the scene and had a bit of fun with it..
I used depth to get mist and AO post pro.. Render time Unbias TR1 for about 20 minutes

My own work, toon shaders for Thea, the corridor was done in Sketchup, direct lighting and rendered in 45 seconds on a I7 3770

Very happy to see you here again. Post more often!

You could have told me the gargoyle was real and I'd believe it. Great mood for the Bates Motel.

Thanks guys :)
To be honest I spend a lot of my time working on small scale scenes and studying how objects and material react, for example take a corner of the room your sat in and try replicating what you see, its interesting but its hard to get the same result..
