I'm testing a workflow with Cubekingdom2, 3DAce and render in trueSpace modelside, here the result:
Other camera angle:
It's game sprites from Double Dragon 2 on Nintendo Nes, i create the polygon version of the pixel sprites with CubeKingdom2 using export in mqo format, after that i load the mqo file in 3DAce to export in it *.lwo format and finally load the lwo file in trueSpace to keep the colors of all faces but sometimes 3DAce don't respect the colors faces of the mqo file maybe a bug with CubeKingdom2 mqo export feature.

Re: Double Dragon 2 tribute WIP
Update: Added more lights for the helicopter, added a building with crates at left, put a fence in the background. I have dropped 3Dace from my workflow because sometime it can't load the mqo format made by Cubekingdom because too much polygon cube, now i use MarbleClay to import the mqo format and export it in 3ds format for trueSpace, it's work fine this way.

Re: Double Dragon 2 (nes version) tribute WIP
When i making this image, i changed my workflow in the middle of the creation for the file format to import in trueSpace but at the end, i keep my first workflow with 3DAce and these mqo import bug/crash, because the 3ds format triangulate all faces and not the lwo format that keep quad faces from the mqo format.
I tested MarbleClay it can import mqo file made by Cubekingdom with no problem but when i export the mqo file in lwo format file, the lwo file created by Marbleclay and imported in trueSpace lost all these colors faces but the polygons are ok . 3Dace don't have this problem with the lwo format export that's compatible with trueSpace, i need to test other export format in 3DAce and Marbleclay, there is also Imocea 3d package that can import the mqo file but export format are limited to use with trueSpace import, the best is to have a mqo import plugin for trueSpace.
