This is my start for the Treasure Challenge.
Want to make gold bars larger, add a few more items, and maybe change the lighting to add a source light to the lamp.

Enlarged the gold bars, added more detail to the lamp and added a compass.

Better and better. The gold looks like gold. Compass! How about more old fashioned map instruments?

If I was doing this one only the gold would have the gold look. That makes it unique in the picture and implies rarity.

I like all of the gold color items, but I think you have a valid point, so I decided to change the composition a little.
I thought the gold bars were kind of lost off to the side.

Very nice! I like it a lot. The colours and world. Reminds me of a scene I wanted to do, decorating a desk. I did the pen, then stopped.

I'd probably add a cloth simulation then freeze the map a bit, add some crinkles to the paper.. it looks way too new.

Other than that, we have a winner! Almost! (JUST YOU WAIT).

I agree the map needed to be refined so I made that change and I am calling it finished.

Beautiful. Lot's of gold. He's certainly got the gold fever.
