No excuse for this one, I just had a hankering for making another piece of equipment.
A brief history of this object I'm modelling is thus
Somebody said he needed some firepower, so he made that
Then he said he needed more firepower, so he did that
Then he said he needed a massive gun, so he did that
Then he said he needs to strap a plane to it, so he did that
Yes sire it's an A-10 warthog, over 10,000 tonnes of explosives flying in perfect formation. Just an excercise to get me back into that modelling groove again, I really been neglecting all my projects recently
Hopefully I can make a cockpit unique to this plane, I do have a nasty habit of cheating sometimes, but this thing is no-way near finished so we'll see how the poly count goes, still got to do the landing gear naccelles, the gun better engine mounts, cockpit glass and all the lovely details, I've really only got a shell at the moment
Enjoy

OHHHH, GraySho is going to like this one too!
I've always liked the look of the Warthog so I'll be enjoying
your progress. Looks good so far.

Yep, my unfinished model is still slumbering on my harddisk. Good start.
Re: Weevil's Hangar
Nice! Are you modeling with polys, sds, or nurbs? Just curious.

But this is back before they made you have to sign up to get higher resolution blueys so the one's you'll find will be smaller

Re: Weevil's Hangar
Lol, thanks Stenie, I actually saw a video where someone completely totalled one of them, that's a much better site I think
Taking a break from the A-10 for a wee bit to have a rant about two plugins, they're certainly getting me happy
PPFX:
Get it
http://www.primitiveitch.com/pub/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
CK Clothmotion
Also get it
http://www.designdevil.de/index.php?menu=plugins" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Now theres a small little uhh..."work around" of that plugin, the password to open the .rar (or in fact any that require the password (they're provided next to the download link)) actually unlocks the full version
Examples of what have kept ME distracted for the last week.
This picture again uses Schattendorn's logo
Enjoy

Re: Weevil's Hangar
Well after getting told off by Stenie I'd post something up, Here y'are...colours are to help me and not neccesarily to look like a "paint by numbers"
If I'd made this model last year or so I'd have just ended it by now, Still got loads more to do with this one though
