"Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside
Using 7.61 MS 2.1 working at the MODELside at the Moment and encounterd a Problem.
If I have an animated Camera it is not able to "look at" another Object. I will just jump back and look right ahead.
It IS working if I do not move the Camera. Is that a known issue and is there any fix for it?

Seems to work for me. Just can not use the View Widget's 'green' Encircle which causes the jumping.

Re: "Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside
In that case are you using Model's Look At tool?

Yes I am. And it works perfeclty fine for a stationary Camera and a moving object... as soon as I move the Camera the "look at" breaks up when I play the recorded animation.
Re: "Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside
Hard to say it works here. Animated Camera looks at the object when manually moving it and when playing the Animation.
Works in Model and Workspace
What is MS 2.1?
Post your scene and I will take a look at it.

Hi there again and thanks for the help.
The Problem occurs every time - not in a specific scene.

Still hard to say. If you post a scn, I will take a look at it.

Re: "Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside
Hi there, attached the Scene after look at stopped working after animating the Camera:
- Added Sphere
- Added Camera
- Camera LOOK AT Sphere (works)
- jumped to frame 200, moved sphere to another position, pressed record.
- playback animation - works (Camera is following the sphere)
- Jump to frame 200 again, moved camera to another position (while editing the LOOK AT ist still working), pressed record.
- As soon as i leave the frame (via jumping back to the start or playing back) the LOOK AT is los and the camera looks streight to the direction it used to to before i made it look at the sphere... :-/

Re: "Look at" not working properly in 7.61 MODELside
In your scn there was no Look clip or keyframes in the Scene editor.
I followed your steps and it works as expected.
Right click the Record buttons in the toolbar and Scene editor.
I always uncheck Auto Record. Steps to try with the above settings:
Frame 0 with camera selected, apply Look At to the sphere and select Record.
Frame 200 with camera selected, move it to a different location and select Record.
Frame 200 with camera selected, move it to a different location and select Record.
This works for me every time.
Not sure why it is not working for you.
It is known that some Model plugins can cause havoc in tS761.
