As told. I could swear that i have read something in the beta forums about glue as child, and why it is missing. But maybe i am also totally wrong. It`s been a while
Tiles, its not in the ts7 toolbars. I think it was in the guide to good modeling why it was removed. You might remember many of us wanted the toolbars to act the old way so Roman brought them back with the glue as child tool. I think you could retreive it with a configuration refresh.

I had the same Problem some weeks ago. After over a year working with 7.61 modelside (6.6.) Glue as child vanished with no chance to get it again till I reinstalled TS completly... :-/

This glue child don't stay in place in my tS 7.61 again, maybe trouble with plugins.

I've always thought the glue tools were rather confusing as it's far easier just to link objects in the scene editor itself.

Maybe "glue as child" with new name don't have this problem, it's because it's bad child

The glue icons are not really necessary anyways as the easiest way to glue objects together is directly possible via the Scene Editor itself. I always found the glue tools a bit awkward myself. The operation is basically drag and drop a part from object to underneath another. You can also unglue a part by right clicking it. You can also unglue everything by using the split hierarchy icon as well. Greetings to all BTW. Leroy.
