Hello...Just installed trueSpace 3.2 just to compare & what not. Was actually a pretty good app for the time it was out.
Wondered if there was a listing of plugs that work in 3.2 anywhere? I got that big archive from Flat2D but it's mostly for 6.6. Been trying a bunch out of it but many more failures than successes.
Just a list would be nice to narrow down the field........
Any Listing for Plugs for tS 3.2?

Thanks Spacekadt...
The LunaDude page quite helpful...especially the TSX Memorial sector.
If I was getting into 3D modeling in 1997-1998 I probably woulda bought tS3. Compared to how GRIM other pro packages were at the time it seems a shining star...Course it didn't quite keep up later on. In 1999 it woulda been all over for tS with the advent of Nichimen Mirai coming out...Mirai was quite the animal.
Nice to have a collection of some useful & many zany plugins to mess with...
I notice that tS3 had tutor files...Don't see this in tS66. I always thought Nendo was the only app to have this kind of ability.
I also see tS3 had PS Plug ability...Don't know how you engage it though.

I am curious why you would like to test ts3.2 and not ts4.3 which was my favorite before they messed up the interface.
(my opinion and not others)

Re: Any Listing for Plugs for tS 3.2?
Glad to help.
tS3 was the only version I ever saw (and immediately bought) in any retail store. Pretty sure I still have the box.
Before that I downloaded & used Pioneer,tS2, and afterwards bought each version of tS online. I think I won one upgrade with a lucky entry in the monthly caliGallery contest.

I made this zipped file with all stuff i have for trueSpace 3.2 from my HD, i hope it will be useful for you, i have trueSpace 3.1 in french version and it work great in Windows 10, just need to add a missing dll file called "3dr32.dll" or trueSpace 3.1 don't start, also i have trueSpace 1.04 and trueSpace 2.01 (in english and french version) but these versions don't work anymore in Windows 10 maybe with Virtualbox with a WinXP iso.
In the file: some plugins, some tutorials and some scenes files from old french 3d mags.

Re: Any Listing for Plugs for tS 3.2?
3.2 was made free once... and is the best from the very old first versions. 4.3 was ok, but i think it did not work as good and stable.
but the best old school tS was the 6.6 - very stable, advanced and clean.
and the most advanced is ofc the 7.61 beta8 model side, which is a bit strange to have two sides (thus not really a "clean" to me)
btw some old plugs (from tS3) work in newer tS (6.6 or 7.6)... just saying.

Re: Any Listing for Plugs for tS 3.2?
Thanks everybody...Did not expect such responses on this mellowed forum.
I just was interested in using 3.2...I had the installer sitting around & a simple search reveals serials. Since I have 6.6 (legacy) I wanted to make a comparison & also see how many plugs I could get to work. Having plugs makes a much bigger difference in older tS as I can see where some became new 'features'.
All in all I like it...very EASY to get into the swing. Extreme fast starting without lags & blurps much cleaner code.
The materials & rendering suck but I can always open in 6.6 & go batshit.
The tutorial scripts are a trip...How do the photoshop plugins work? I can't figure that one.
I find it AMAZING that it had dynamic division back then...Seems like it works cleaner than 6.6
Thanks for the extras Cellulo!

Re: Any Listing for Plugs for tS 3.2?
photoshop plugins are just plain post process filters. So after rendering it applies something 2D over the picture. Its pretty much useless imo.

After discovering TS3.2 has PS1 development support, I've been looking it a bit,... are you able to please share this again?
