trueSpace websites missing resources, broken links, etc

While looking around to find trueSpace information and resources, I came across sites with broken links or damaged files or years-old entries being their most recent -- without contact information (or non-responsive ones) for inquiries, that sort of thing. All very understandable. Perhaps, if that sort of thing is posted here, someone having information to contact the author or link to a complete, saved resources might post about it here. Just a thought.

For example:

While going through the pages, there was a tutorial page with multiple, large .SWF videos. All of them were view-able, except the last one. No matter how many times I refreshed the page, cleared my browser cache, reloaded, only a small part would come through (and always the same size). Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any contact page for reports or inquiries. For forums, this nice place was linked to.

Specifically, on TUTORIALS > GETTING STARTED WITH TRUESPACE 7, the last .SWF video "10 Real-time post-processing" appears to be a damaged (truncated) video -- SWF information shows 27,196KB while downloaded file size is 3,920KB on fresh, multiple retries. The rest are complete and fine.

Great! That did it! I also double-checked all the files and they now are right (also confirmed the bytes-to-kilobytes math for filesize-to-SWFfileinfo of each).

Here is another one with "apparently missing" assets:

The "apparently missing" was actually links not updated for online access and a few capitalization typos.

BTW, I found a really great, online, PDF document joiner to put all the chapters together ... with proper linking of each chapter's pages to only that chapter's links:

that is the original way it was - seperate pdfs... you dont need a joiner. I or any graphics designer can merge it in acrobat pro if needed.

That's great! And a great resource, too.

I've always liked the full book approach -- one click to bring up the book, another click in the table of contents to go, easy to jump around without having to launch other files again and again. That picture of the handbook started me thinking if we could workup a proper book ... cover (front & back) pictures, table of contents, index at the end, and maybe the reader-sidebar for quick jumps to all the subheadings. That would be awesome!

Had trueSpace ever made such for their book (or dare I say ... books)?
