Well I ve been testing a lot over the years and a new TS version or rewrite or anything in that direction is probably wishfull thinking! Next best bet for some of us is Bforartists etc.! Well I actually found out that all TS needs for the future is Okino Polytrans or Nugraf! I was aware a long time that its around but for some reason I never tried it out! It reads and writes both TS cob and scn files into almost all industry standards ...file formats...instancing included!!!!!!!! I managed to get very large file in and out of TS hassel free! You can all try out if its of help to your workflow! There is a trial that does not expire but drops every 5th poly! Many of you have also encoutered problems going to and from Blender using Collada! Well there isnt a real standard thats the problem! Polytrans takes care of that since it lets you adapt the necessary settings!
